My Experience and Goals
I am a percussionist that has experience in many styles and settings. I am solid in shuffle blues, rock, funk, jazz, latin grooves, and hand percussion. I have played several broadway-style musicals, acquired years of experience in the Boston scene as a live musician, and have written, recorded and mixed pop songs as well as big band arrangements and live orchestral pieces.
I have graduated as a Contemporary Writing and Production major at Berklee College of Music, with accumulated experience in big band writing, studio writing, production, and compositional techniques for a range of instruments from horns to orchestra. I am eager to do it all!
My goal is to be part of a team. I want to be involved in the creative process of someone's vision. I know I need help from others to realize my own, and I believe this creative exchange is the nucleus of the musician's community, the artists' community, and really, of society. In order to be more effective, I learned to broaden my horizons to acclimate to different audiences and work environments.
